  • Technology that allows many higher education groups to use the local resources when 从上海州立大学校园出发.
  • 学生, faculty, and staff can connect to hundreds of secure 网络s across the world using their 菠菜网lol正规平台 login with eduroam. Eduroam is an international roaming service that has thousands of participating universities, libraries, and other learning institutions. There are over 2,000 available eduroam 网络s across the United States, including at least 一个 in every major city with many throughout the SF Bay Area and California.   • This is an open, unencrypted wireless 网络 for campus visitors.

We also offer Domain Name System (DNS) and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) 各部门的服务. The service is hosted on the Infoblox appliance, is fully redundant, and can be administered centrally by Network 服务 or remotely by department-based IT支持人员.

• Is 无线网络 different than the wired 网络?

  • No, the wi-fi system does not require a logout.

     

• Can I use the Wireless 网络 off-campus or at home?

  • The wireless 网络 is strictly for the main campus and south campus. 没有 plans to offer university sponsored 网络 access to any other locations.

  • This could be related to your location or the quality of your wireless device.

     

• Why does wireless work in some areas, but not in others?
